I've not seen this mentioned here yet, but AAXA has introduced a mini UHD LED projector - the 4K1, priced at $999 on AAXA's site.

AAXA 4K1 (Native 4K Ultra HD Mini Projector)

There's not much details behind the specifications, but they say they are using a TI DLP, and OSRAM quad-cast LEDs, producing 1500 lumens (they don't say if it's AINSI), with a 2000:1 contrast ratio.

It's got 2 HDMI 2.0 (HDCP 2.2) inputs, as well as stereo mini-jack and USB (2.0!).

The dimensions are 8.3 in x 7.2 in x 2.4 in and it weighs in at 3.8lbs.

I can't find anything about the OSRAM LEDs, but from the image it looks like they are RGBM.

The throw ratio is 1.2:1 and the focus is electronic.

Press release
AAXA Technologies announces the release of a true native 4K 3840 x 2160 resolution mini projector

And correction to the LEDS: according to the press release it's RGBB, and there is no colour wheel!

The 4K1 employs premium Osram quad-cast solid-state LEDs. Quad Cast Red/Green/Blue/Blue LEDs are able to produce a rich and vibrant color gamut that cannot be found in color-wheel or white LED based projectors. Solid-state LED technology enables long life-spans, instant on/off, and is much more durable than lamp-based projectors. With a 30,000 hour LED light source the 4K1 can operate 8 hours per day for more than 10 years without needing a lamp change. And of course the LEDs are environmentally friendly and mercury free.
No RBE? Extended colour gamut?
