I know this is often very subjective
I am considering buying the Sony 48” A9 OLED . I have an excellent Denon receiver but in the interests of minimalism will the Acoutic surface audio of the Sony be ok, in a smallish lounge ?
Although basically the question is ASA any good ? Hearing it in JL is not the same and I would prefer hearing peoples opinions here 😀

Not a patch on AVR and speakers. I won’t even use mine as a centre speaker.

It’s ok, but I thought it would sound better. I have an older Sony HT-XT1sound base which is much better.

Interesting. Thanks. Better not rely on it as a quality sound source it seems to me

Having said what I said, it is a great speaker alongside other TVs in its class, quite impressive really.

I’m quite happy to give it a go. It may suit my lounge, which is not huge. I can always resort back to my Denon 5.1 of course
