Is the Panasonic DMR-E500H EG-S official released yet ?
I mean: is he yet available in some real shops ???

Has someone really seen this beast IRL ???

I ordered one ( in Germany ) and it seems that he can't be delivered yet...

Yes it's out - several owners have one - and I saw it in Plymouth the other day.

    THANKS Rasczak, I'm a little less-sad now...

I ordered it thuesday, and they told me 2 or 3 days for delivery.... :(
So I hoped that I could pick it up on saturday....

Anyway, he's out in GB, let's hope the Germans also received an nice Panny container.

Can you use a network to copy titles between a PC & the E500's HDD?

    No.
As they stand, the PC accesses the titles to rename them by using the QWERTY keyboard rather than the DVD recorder handset. Other than that, the PC is used to copy JPEG/TIFF's and view stills and MPEG4.
The best feature without doubt though, is to play the HDD movies in another room via Cat5 or WiFi :D
