A/V plus stereo using same speakers

    I'm undecided about which method to use to keep the same front speakers for both A/V and CDs.

    1. Connecting stereo amp to A/V amp.
    2. Unplug bananas to switch amps.
    3. Using QED system switching unit (or Maplins). I've yet to hear of anyone who does this.:confused:

    I'd be grateful for any comments

    Connect the pre-out front channels of the AV amp (if you have them) with on of the stereo amplifier inputs and keep the volume of the stereo amp at one calibrated position. If you don't have pre-outs on the AV amp, go for the speaker switch.
