Hi Everybody,
I am selling my PW5 Panasonic plasma and I want to buy a new screen that will be compatible with the new Sky HD service, from my investagating I think the only screen that is fully compatiable is the new Pioneer range. I have also been on to Philips and they say the 42PF9966/12 is fully compatiable it has HDCP over DVI and supports 720/50 and 1080/50 so are these the only screens that are currently up to the job. I would have gone for the PW7HD screen from Paanasonic but it only does 60hz and not 50hz over DVI/HDMI.
The only other screen i can see that is up to the job is the Hitachi 5200 this has all i need and supports 1080/50 but the 720 is over 60hz is this going to be up to the task or not.
UPDATE - After some more research I think the Fujitsu P42HHS30ES plasma will cover all my bases as well is this the case.
Thanks a million for your help,
Leigh
