Yup that is pretty lame
What how crazy is that
Maybe but look at all the free advertising they are getting, and how they are appealing to many many people!
A PRs wet dream!
I find it quite amusing actually.
One of those things, it'll just be a gimmick and won't take off.
I'm more suprised its getting a sequel : the first one was pish!
Who the does this appeal to exactly...? CGI just does not do it for me, sorry...
can you guys remmebr when only "nerds" played games. our parents told us "games will rott your brain!"
or "games are for kids"
now look how seriously games are being taken now. everybody wants a piece of the action, even playboy!
Playing games makes you sexy.
i doubt the advertising is free. smells of an advertising campaign to me.
I imagine its those types that dress up as mario, a streetfighter character or halo etc and go to gaming conventions or whatever it is they go to, probably the same type that druelled over a first gaming screen shot of laura croft and got excited when she changed into her swimsuit in toomraider 14 or whatever number it was.
Ahh takes me back remember the slash em up "Barbarian" with Maria Whiticker (sp)!
Storm of outrage so it was!
They had a big article about it on page 3 (!) of the Metro I saw this morning on my commute into work. Text said something like the market for Playboy is apparently similar to that of gamers - average age 33 with loads of disposable income.
Kind of makes sense, I guess, but the whole "get your Mrs to dress in Lara gear" story that keeps going round doesn't really make gaming seem like its not geeky anymore... Maybe I'm just in denial about my geekiness!
Btw, my Mrs has never been near a Lara outfit!
