OK, so its not really but theres lots of questions about T2, but I can't find the one that I want.

    Heres my question.....

What is the difference between Special edition and Ultimate Edition? I notice that the UK version is missing the Ultimate edition.

I have T2 SE on LaserDisc (remember them?) with the added footage. Does the UE contain any more additions to the actual film?

    Cheers people!!

    Paul.

On the R1 disc, which has all three versions, there are two, short, additional screnes in the Extended Special Edition. One is a brief scene of the T1000 searching John Connor's bedroom after killing his foster parents. The other is an extended ending showing Sarah Connor several years later in a Park with (grown up) John and his children - ie to contrast the future (as it was) with the future (as it is after her intervention). Neither scene adds any value to the film IMHO. Unlike the extras in the regular SE over the theatrical version, which DO enhance the film (again, IMHO).

    Paul,

Whilst Nigel is correct, in that the Ultimate Edition doesn't have much different content to the Special Edition, I'd still recommend the purchase of the movie.

However, don't get screwed-over. Buy the Region 1 edition, and not the inferior Region 2 version!
