I heard a piece of music today which I've not heard in years, its an incredibly stirring and patriotic piece called 'crown imperial' - I don't know the composer or the occasion for which it was written but its definitely tied to some occasion/event - can anyone enlighten me?

Its by William Walton. Go here and have a dig around, you'll find more information on Crown Imperial and his other works.
