Can someone please help me. I want to establish how old my PD30 is.

S&V said they sell all the ones they get weekly so by that margin it should be new.

But early when I got it the run time was something like 400 hours?

Could someone please post their serial numbers to compare???

Also what software revision should I have?

not having a 36" infront of me to compare, but certain retailer, particularly very very cheap ones will sell graded stock without it being clearly marked as so....

Got the runtime a bit high!

Anywaym double checked and it's 221 hours. Even assuming that it's been used 4 hours a day (unlikely) and given we've been away a bit in that month that leaves

    (4 x 24 days) = 96 hours. Leaving 221-96 = 125 hours unaccounted for.

I'm not sure they spend 125 hours on the test bench so where's all that time gone?

    Serial number is 3360039.

If its a Re-pack, ie been back to panny as faulty out of box and returned for credit by dealer yes they come all boxed, stands often come shrink wrapped, but often stands are not returned.

    Thanks for that.

Will phone Panasonic on Monday and question them of the origins of my Panny.

Anyone else got a serial number??
