    :hiya:

I was originally going to buy Mission M30, M31, M3C1 and M3AS but I'm swayed towards the Mordaunt Shorts. I quite fancy the Premiere Pack but feel that it may be lacking a little especially the subwoofer. I've done an indepth search and have found the following at the prices listed. Can anyone find these at a lower price?

    Fronts MS902 £150
    Rears MS302 £120
    Centre MS905C £120
    Sub MSD907W £188

Would this combo work well with a Pioneer VSX D912 or would the Premiere Pack suffice but with a sub upgrade? I have heard of the MS Premiere Pack + but I can't find any info on the internet.

The 302's are £100 at richer sounds.

I know. But the black ones are out of stock :( The price I posted was the next cheapest I could find.

Are they out of stock at your local store or have they completely run out? I find this hard to believe as the company that owns richersounds also own Mordaunt Short so it must be just a question of time before they have them in again. Have you tried their stock enquiry line 0870 3661296.

P.S. To anyone who's interested in more info on the company and its products see:

Managed to pick up a pair of 302's for £97.53 from av-sales.com :) I've gone for the package I listed above in the end. Hope it sounds good when I get it.

get the 309 sub better than 907 if you speak to Tons of Fun:
(you been reading my threads) Prem+ has the 309 sub that is the difference! but I think a worthwhile upgrade cause i am buying one!

We have stopped the production of the black premiere bits as nobody bought them. And for the last bloody time, Audiopartnership is now owned and operated by a totally different group of people :lesson:. Hence the distribution by Marantz Gmbh and the fact that Independants are able to sell the products.

What's the difference between the 309 and the 907? Can't find anything on the 309.

Yeah- that's our fault as it has slipped throught the cracks whilst we've been preparing the site for the new range of speakers. The 309 looks like a diminutive of the 909 (10" driver instead of 12" and 150w class D amp instead of 300w). It is still quite rare in the UK as the Germans bought a great many Prem+'s but it kicks a good deal harder than the 907 although I am aware that there are some very good deals on the 907 around at the moment.

all that means is that they have done the deal to sell through their shops.
Rs is a privately owned company by JR.

Its the same as a company being "witch" acredited
    just an audio only version

Quick question on the Premier Pack - what colour are the speaker grills? (I assume they have them, but all the pictures on the web show them without the grills).

I'd quite like something other than black grills - preferably grey or silver on a beech/ maple/ cherry case.

    Thanks,

    Balders.

As luck would have it, the grills are silver finish.

Through various sources, I have ordered the following.

    MS902 Fronts £110
    MS302 Rears £99
    MS905 Centre £120
    MS907 Sub £188

The only stock items are the 902's and 302's. I'll have to wait an extra few days for the 905 and 907. It turns out that the 900 series is in the middle of being phased out and is being replaced with the Avant Series.

Can anyone please tell me if these speakers have binding posts?

All those bar the 907 have binding posts. In addition, the 902's and 905 are biwireable.

What type of subwoofer cable connection will I need for the 907? RCA, phono or subwoofer lead?

Any RCA lead will do the trick.
