Hi im looking to buy a pair of headphones but i am on a budget of £35, i want a pair of phones that cover the ear not the little bud type phones.

I have been looking at the Sennheiser PX200 and they look pretty good, does anyone else have any ideas, theres also these grado SR60 on ebay but they might go over my budget.

If you have any ideas please let me know.

Sennheiser HD497 from www.askdirect.co.uk are not too bad for beer money. They were £30 the last time I checked.

If you search you may find the Philips HP890 within your budget. They are better again.

If you dont mind ordering from abroad, I'd recommend checking out the Koss Porta-Pro from www.koss.com

The PX100's outperform the PX200's to my ears...

The 100's are open-backed and give a far fuller sound than the closed-back 200's. I'd consider the 200's for exclusively outdoor/public transport use as they have less leakage than the 100's, but for sound quality the 100's destroy the 200's.

    And they're cheaper.
