hello people. im sure you knowledgable bunch will be able to give me some advice on a AV amp decision dilema i'm having. via the helpful search facility on here i have narrowed down the options to either a Denon avr1907 or Onkyo TX-SR505E. i will be powering KEF Q5 floor stand speakers at front, Kef (not sure of model no.) centre speaker and KEF Q1 rears. I have never heard of Onkyo and am very well aware of the excellent reputation of denon. and these both are within my budget of under £300. I just need a final push from you guys to which amp i should go for. or is there another i should consider? potentially a lil flexible on price..

thanks a bunch.

I hadn't heard of Onkyo as well until the last few months but after some in depth reading and net surfing I found out that Onkyos always get excellent reviews. I will be buying an Onkyo as my next Amp. ( I need HDMI inputs )

But the Denon has had excellent reviews as well and if you don't need the HDMI ports which the Onkyo has the Denon might be the one to go for ? ( others might help here ) for sound quality. My main advice is to look at the Hifi and TV etc that you have got and see what works best with your system.
