For those of you with black Grittex finishes on REL subs with a few little knocks and scratches etc, get rid of them with a dab of black boot polish. Apply and wipe in with a cloth, and hey presto, they've gone. Plus your sub will be all new and shiny.:D

The previous owner had a two year old son that thought that the subwoofer was somthing for him to play with his toys on.

If he had covered the scratches up with boot polish the General would have been most displeased when he carried it in and found boot polish stains all over his nice clean uniform.

    :D :D

Actually, this was prompted by one of my dogs who liked! to jump onto the woofer to look out of the window. He's now learnt that creates a pain across his backside.

Anyone else spot this? dog - woofer.

    Oh dear.

The younger brother of a mate of mine liked to use his toy hammer on various objects, my speaker grills included. When I tried the hammer on his toe he quickly changed his mind. :D

Aparantly one of his first "hammerings" turned out to be the mothers glass coffee table. Tougened glass my A**E!
