    Its generally accepted that you should run in your plasma at low contrast and brightness settings for the first 100 - 200 hours.
    I reckon you need to rethink pausing for half an hour though when first using your plasma. I dont think anyone on these forums has suffered plasma burn on a Viera and I dont think you want to be the first!
