A little help please?

I've recently encountered an output issue with my BD player.

For months/years (I can't recall exactly how long) the player has been connected via a 4k switch to my TV without issue.

Out of the blue I now get video but no sound when connected via switch, all fine when connected to the TV directly though. I've swapped inputs on the switch, changed cables etc but to no avail. It's just a standard HDMI pass through, no external speaker setup or anything that would potentially divert things.

No hardware has been touched, no updates performed. I've changed out cables, cleaned ports but the issue persists.

Any thoughts?

Disconnect all devices from the mains for 5 minutes.

When you repower them, switch on the TV first before turning on other peripheral devices.
