    Hi,

    I'm a recent, not-so-happy owner of a panasonic 42PHW5EX, tuner included.
What bothers me is the flickering associated with 50Hz PAL. I fed the plasma an NTSC signal which improved things a lot. Hooking it up to my PC seemed even better. So I know the screen can do better, but this is all new to me so if you guys could help me out I'd appreciate.

How should I upgrade my setup to enjoy flicker-free cable TV & DVD? Is a progressive DVD player going to make a big difference? But what about cable TV & other inputs?

    thx,
    Chris

Ok, after a bit of further inverstigating I guess a scaler is what I need. Suppose I go for a e.g. Lumagen vision, does this make a progressive input (from dvd or xbox) obsolete? From what I've read the vision can't even deal with progressive input, or am I wrong?
