I have just been looking at tonight’s line up to start with there is that Christopher Reeves episode of Smallvile on Ch4. Then later Murder In Mind which stars Tim Healy which if the same character as he played the last time he was in the series (hopefully it means the same writer)as it was the best story of the whole series. Then on BBC2, 24 and then BBC3 24 (the next hour), Pure 24. And on ITV at 12.50 is the film A Midnight Clear which I thought was a very poignant war film.

I've got midnight Clear on dvd in my "to watch pile" at the moment might give it a spin soon and give me subwoofer a good workout.
How many more episodes of 24 are there? Can't be many left now , possible spoiler - .the last one I saw was when he dug that chip out off someones chest .

Not only that episode of Smallville we get 2 episodes.

On the BBC it is 01:00 to 02:00 and BBC 3 02:00 to 03:00 so I rate that is 6 episodes on the BBC and 5 on BBC 3. That’s if they go back to 08:00.

I've yet to catch a single episode of smallville - missed the first few and never thought about watching anymore. I always like to watch series in their entirety or not atall. Are they worth watching and are they being released on dvd? I suppose I've a lot of catching up to do.
Another series I've not been following is Charmed - is this any good?

Yes Smallville is good I did not think it would be up to much seeing he was not Superman or Superboy, but by that fact it makes it a good series. So not only does he have to keep his identity secret he has to keep his powers secret. It is far better then Lois and Clark and even though they are both in the realms of fantasy Smallville is more realistic even though you do get the super powered human turning up.

Smallville Season 1 is due out 27/10 for £44.99 according to play.
The pilot is out now in the US. I seem to recall there was a thread mentioning something about copyright issues with the music.

Haven't found out anything about Charmed yet.

Play are moving R1 DVD to a new site, playusa.com.:(
