As the fog descended last night I went down to Telford Central Station with my camera and tripod to capture some images.

    These are the results.

Second one is the best here for me. Having someone in the frame just seems to make it appear more interesting to me. Think I need to take some myself....

The first two are really good, I think I would crop out some of the black area to the top and to the right of the third one.

Overall I think you've captured the foggy atmosphere perfectly. Nice one Steve.

I like the first one - Simple and graphic. The second one is also nice, but I think a slightly tighter crop would have been nice, putting the figure just off to the left - The bench is a little to lost in the shadow to be interesting.

I'll keep an eye on the weather from now on :smashin:

    Thanks for the comments.

I can see what you are saying about the composition of the 2nd one Liquid101, but I wanted to keep the figure central to the image and have the lines leading toward them. I might have a play with some crops later on tonight.

As soon as I saw the fog dropping yesterday afternoon I was itching to get out with the camera. Lorna thinks I'm as daft as a blue balloon!

I have a version of the first with a figure of a man toward the back of the footbridge. I'm thinking that although I chose the one above to publish I may have been wrong. I might change it later :)

    Ahoy Steve,

Love the lighting in image 3. A real moody shot. That would look teriffic in A4 mounted and framed (or on canvas).

I like number 3 as well - just need to clone out the speaker at the top right.

All very nice Steve, but I'll have to say that number 2 is my personal fav - the loud speaker in the top right of number 3 distracts me (just my personal view mate)

Agree with both of you. Must admit I never noticed it when framing the shot  I'll clone it out later :smashin:

Excellent photos Steve  I'd be afraid of getting knocked on the head and having my gear stolen if I tried that at my local station :D

It was actually very quiet John, a bunch of chavs arrived and took a bit of interest in what I was doing and ended up posing for a picture for me

    Thanks for the comments :smashin:
