Hi, Im new here, I hope this question isn't answered too often...

    Anyways, here is my situation...

I want to play DivX and DVDs from my computer to my new 32 inch TV with S-Video and Component inputs.

I would really rather use Component, just for the sake of optimizing the visual quality.

    1) How many lines of resolution can S-Video support? How much of a difference would a Component signal mean? I have the Toshiba 32a13 (32 inch TV with 750 lines of resolution)

    2) How can I convert a Vga or DVI out to Component out? I know of the 150$ converter boxes, but they seem really too expensive...

3)I also have a spare AIW radeon lying around as well, which apparently does not officially support the ATI DVI to Component converter... Does anyone know if the converter unofficially supports my card?

    4) Will the Comb filter on my TV filter every imput?

    Thanks in advance.
