I remember around a year ago someone asked about a definitive version of Night of the Living Dead. The general consensus was that THIS is it. Now I see yet another R2 version is being released HERE - any idea if this will be an improvement, or if there are any other superior versions due out around the world? Cheers for any help.

If it helps, I believe we should have a review of the new R2 release coming to the site, hopefully this week.

Cheers, I look forward to it. Looking at the vague specs on Play's site it could well be the same as the R1 Millennium edition. In a box.

From the review at dvdtimes it seems like another poor showing for R2.
The Picture isnt nowhere near as good as the R1 Millennium edition. Plus its missing a fare few extras. The R1 is only £7.63 at dvdpacifc, in stock aswell.

Thanks for the tip off. Seeing as the UK will never likely get any better I've finally gone for the Millennium Edition after holding off for a couple of years. Must... get... my... zombie... fix!
