    Sony DCR-TRV60

    or

    Panasonic NV-GS70

Sony a little more expensive, but is it worth it.

No other alternatives please, have taken an age to narrow it down to these two

    Hi Bresslaw

I have no personal experience of either camera, but have read many times that the GS70 anti-shake is next to useless.

From my own experience, I would rate anti-shake as a must have feature when shooting outdoors (in wind) or when zooming.
