Hi guys,

Im getting really confuesd and i need help regarding which ssd to buy.

I have narrowed it down to three, just want someones advise on which one is the fastest and more importantly has longevity.

A-Data 120GB S510

Samsung 840 Pro 128gb

Kingston HyperX 120gb

Which one do you recommend? i need speed and reliability. or are there any other ssd's that you can recommend to me.

Out of those 3 the Samsung is best but costs a lot, Kingston would be my second choice.

I just picked up a SanDisk 120 Extreme, its very quick and I've not had a single issue from it.

Good luck :D

840pro, Samsung make the NAND and the controller, but a caveat here which may not be applicable, they don't play nice with LSI Raid controllers or HBA's

I'd go with the Samsung every time. If its my money I'm spending I might save a couple of quid and get something else, especially if its something that isn't actually holding any data like a media PC. If its other people's money I stick with Intel or Samsung.
