Im getting my new Pioneer436xde tomorrow (I hope) and Im pretty excited this is my first plasma...

Now what things do I need to remember when running it in? Such as brightness levels and how long do I need to be careful for when it comes to static images etc to minimise screen burn?

Also does anybody know where I can get material off the net to showcase the hi-def capabilities of the tv?

Thanks

Hi

I think generally you need to have the Contrast and Brightness below 50% for the first 200hrs, don't leave the Plasma on a station for to long which has a logo on it, I think that's all really, then after the 200hrs, things should be ok, and you are less likely to get image retention (screen burn  )

Lofty
