I have a couple of questions regarding a couple of aspects about my Viera that really intrigue me. Nothing about how to tweak the picture thankfully :p

Well I'm the type that likes to know how my kit works rather than just be greatful that the kit does work.

    1. Anyone know what the two red LED's on the back circuit board denote if you look into the back of the telly on the right hand side (as viewed)? They can be seen quite clearly through all the circular cooling holes. I know... I should be watching the front of the TV not the back when it's switched on :p

    2. There's a small flap on the back of the TV set about 2/3 the way up the back of the set, ie near the top, roughly over where all the RF, Audio out, component and SCART sockets are. If my memory serves me correctly I guess the flap is about the size of a small box of matches and it's screwed down into place by a small philips screw. Anyone know what lurks beneath this flap?

Just curious is all :) Anyone know?

I'll take the lack of replies as a 'no' then :p

Hehe I wish! :D Not really that much spare time, just an enquiring mind/curious nature I guess. I'm the same with all my major purchases etc... car, electronic goods, I like to know all there is to know about them.

Yeah I'm the same to except I can't help myself if there's a DO NOT PRESS THIS BUTTON or AUTHORISED ENGINEER ONLY label and simply have to take the thing apart!

Great minds think alike :D ...

    Fools seldom differ :p

On a serious note again, do the PW6's have a small access hatch in roughly the same place as the Vieras and the PA20's? Point 2 in the original post.

Completely can't remember and don't have one around here. I don't think there any removable panels on the back of the monitor versions, it is just one big thin sheet that comes off!

My PWD6 appears to be one solid sheet of moulded plastic
apart from the 3 slots for terminal boards that have metal plates screwed on
(and the 2 big lifting handles bolted top left and top right)
