Hi,

Seeing as there have been so many dark and miserable threads recently, I thought I'd cheer everyone up...! :)

Ever wanted to own a vehicle, that didn't cost the earth?
Ever wanted to look really cool, but didn't want to spend £50k on a Ferrari or Porsche.
Do you need a vehicle, that will make you the envy of your area?
Want something economical, and efficient?
Would a vehicle that can be ridden both off-road and on-road, without breaking the law be something you'd find interesting?
Want to be one-step-ahead of everyone else?
Are you a new driver, and can't afford to splash-out, but still want to look cool, without looking like a Chav?!

Well if any of the above applies, then this is going to be the best news yet! :D Check out this site !

Do a search for: the PGO Bug Rider 250SS, or the XRV250E, or the PGO 150E Bugxter! These vehicles are the ultimate in cool, without the ultimate in wallet-bursting expense!

The PGO Bug Rider 250SS costs just £3499. The XRV250E costs £2899, and the PGO 150E Bugxter costs £2399. if I could, and I lived on my own, I'd go for the XRV250E. It seats two-people, looks hip, doesn't cost the earth, has some luggage space for dailyuse, has a rollbar!

The best thing of all, is that each of the above-mentioned vehicles can be made road-legal, can be insured and MOT'd as per normal cars, and wearing a helmet is voluntary (though you'd be dumb not to)!

Are they cool, or what?!

It looks too much like a push chair with an engine.

Razor,

Yeah, that may be so, but what a pushchair it is! :D I think they're superb and would - if I could afford to - go out and buy one, without any hesitation! :)

It will suffer the same fate as the Sinclair C5. Great little buggy, but 32-ton truck drivers won't see you, and you'll flattened within a week of getting one.

Sounds like the perfect gift for teenagers now........ ;)

I wouldnt mind a quad bike, but all the quads I have seen have been riden by Pikies.

They do look fun.

they're quite cool, but considering I only spent 300 on my last car....I doubt I'll be buying one! ;)

Ridden by them, yes. Owned by them? Probably not

Yet another vehicle that does not need insurance, tax, MOT and lights - which will restrict the usage

Edit - ooops just had a proper look. Do seem to have lights but do they need insurance and number plates?

The buggies I mentioned, all need MOT's, insurance, and number plates before they can be driven on any public road!

Whats with all the teenage angst?

I'd sooner steal your car than a motorised pushchair ;) :D

Maybe this should be in my pointless inventions thread? :D
