I'm looking to buy an Mp3 player and have a strict budget of <£150.

I'm totally bewildered to be honest. I have read most of the threads on here and trawalled many of the manufactures and retailers websites.

I wonder if anyone could point me in the right direction through there own knowledge?

I'm not bothered wether its Solid state or HDD as it will only be used on my desk at work, hence the preference for ac power. I don't really want an ipod because I don't want to use i-tunes.

    I want:

    AC power
    FM Radio built in
    WMA format
    Looks unimportant
    Wieght unimportant

    Thanks

What, you'll never move from your desk? :D

Anyway, Creative Zen Micro? 5gb, FM, I think it can charge with A/C. Buy online for cheapest price.

Yes not allowed to leave.....ever. ;)

    Thanks for your reply.

I do like the look of the Zen Micro but couldn't see wether it had a mains adapter or charged from the usb lead. The box contents doesn't list a charger. I wouldn't be allowed to connect it to my work computer.

Perhaps a Zen owner could answer that one for me?

I suggest the iRiver H10, I think it has FM radio.

I believe this supports drag n drop, so you are not forced to use any manufacturers software.

There was an Advert in yesterdays SUN newspaper for a THOMSON 20GB MP3 player with FM radio COMET were advertising it for £149.99 so probably worth going to have a look at Model number PDP2842U
    http://www.comet.co.uk/comet/html/cache/461_203971.html fits all your criteria

Wow, 1st post by veteran member I've read. Anyway, 20gb player for £150? Bargain. Shame the fact its so cheap means
    1) its rubbish
    2) lacks style
    3) Or couldn't compete with rivals
I'm guessing 3). In that case, get it! :)
