    You did!
It took me a moment to work out what I was seeing then "Wow!", I think the framing has made all the difference to the picture.
It goes to show places like that are well worth visiting.

I also think colour was the right choice and the shot is definitely on theme and the exposure is spot on but the subject matter just doesn't do much for me I'm afraid - but it's better than what I've got at the moment :)

Welcome to the Compo. Crew

Definitely on theme, but slightly too busy and I get a feeling I'm not getting to see everything yet my mind is not able to fill in the blanks (despite having visited the place frequently)...sorry not for me...

Appreciate all the comments, new to photography so glad I was able to get the framing and exposure right at least. Will be back next month hopefully with a better subject matter :)

certainly light and shadow, but a bit busy. its difficult to settle on one area.
try a 180 flip so that claw is at the top of the frame?

A little 'busy' for me, would love to see some close in shots of the subject matter though.

I think it's a good effort :) Personally, I probably would've tried to get one claw (well, one arm/wing/whatnot) in the picture, sharp focus on it and then the shadow behind it. But we all have our own style and the main thing is, you posted an entry! :) I'm absolutely for the subject matter, though. I love dinosaurs and all sorts of prehistoric stuff :)

Bang on theme no doubt there but its just a little too tightly framed for me.

For me, it would have worked better with just the shadows and no bones.

    Welcome to the competition though:smashin:
