Nice use of selective focus but don't do a lot for me..

Thanks for your comment. I’ve crossed this bridge many times over the past 30 years. My dad used to take me to watch the trains and now I do with my own kids.

Every now and again it gets a new lick of paint but it can’t cover up the fact that it's gradually rotting away......

The resolution limits of the competition really doesn't do it justice. Close up the rust and cracks look like craters on the moon.

Yeah Good DOF, interesting subject. Not really my cup of tea but I can see where you are coming from.
I'd be interested to see the original shot in colour make an appearance in the not valid thread....
