Just thought I thank the forum for all your advice. :smashin:

In the last two months you have:
    • Saved me £300 on a Sony FX66
    • Got a 5 year warranty due to buying from John Lewis
    • Got advice for a replacement TV after the getting a buzzing FX66
    • Found a good stand for the new TV

I am now a very proud & extremely happy Loewe Aventos owner. :smoke:

I loved the FX66 but the Loewe it superb - every fault with the Sony is non-existent on the Loewe! :D

So thank you everyone - keep up the good work.

Which stand did you go for in the end?

I got the TV stand in the 'Magiker' range from Ikea.

    It's excellant for my needs.
All of my bits go under it (video, surround, xbox) including the centre speaker & subwoofer (slowly getting rid of vibrations at extreme volume!)

The best part is the sliding door that only covers a third of the unit.
Have normal access to the xbox most of the time but when I watch a DVD the door slides across to stop the sound of the LOUD fan!! :smashin:

I wen for the 'Kaxas' for my basal vitros. Copliments the tv perfectly and all equipment is hidden behind sliding glass doors and for just...£35!

Glad to hear you got set up OK - the Loewe's are fantastic!
