Anyone out there know how to fool my Acer cdrw into recognising and recording onto 90 minute media without some complicated DOS routine? That'll teach me for buying 50 of the things! Everyone's gonna get coasters for Xmas at this rate!

Check for un updated firmware which may recognise the media.

If nothing's recognised in Windows, software won't help. Always buy a new drive, probably cost less than 50 blank cd-rs :)

If your CDRW is capable of overburning? just use the overburning option in Nero. Check the Acer website as some manufacturers quote the amount of minutes to enter into Nero's overburning options.
