I'd love an LCD projector but the wall id hang it from is only 9 feet away from the other wall id project the picture too. is it worth it? what kind of screen size can i expect from such a small distance? ideally id like 42" viewable area.

Thanks for the reply, ideally im looking at 42" so anything over that is a bonus.

with it being such a small screen for a projector, am i going to notice a big difference in quality from lets say a PATEA200 and 500, or isnt screen size and issue when it comes to picture quality??

To an extent the smaller screen = smaller pixels thereby increasing perceived picture quality....
Now back to the F1. Why can't Schumaker blow an engine or something?

EDIT: All asuming that you maintain your sitting distance which as a guide should be greater than 1.5 times the screen size. ie, 60" screen = sittng distance minimum = 90" although 1.8 to 2 ratio is about the best imo.

Fonzerelli,

Just got and setup my AE300 at 8 foot and sitting directly under it, getting a 69" wide (which is about 80" diagonal). It is excellent.

My Pany300 is about 9ft away from the screen and producing an excellent 80" image on my 84" wide home made screen!!
