8mm x 4mm What Grade Of Speaker Cable Is This

Hey guys.

I recently mounted my rear speakers on the wall, now i am a bit short with my cable lengths, they have already been run under the edge of the carpet. Im wondering what grade it is so i can buy more and solder and extend the cable. I bought it from richer-sounds a few years ago and it has no writing on it at all, its white with one black stripe, its the regular figure 8 style, it is just under 8mm wide and about 4mm thick, does this sound like 2 x 2.5mm cable? I could take a pic if needed or use calipers and measure the copper core size.

Are you replacing it or extending it? (Sorry, misread your post, just pop into B&Q with a piece)

If replacing it, this may sort you out.

If extending, just take a piece with you to B&Q and get something similar.

Thanks for your reply. I am extending my cables. !00m it is too much cable im afraid. Ill see what b&q has i should be visiting them soon.
