    Hi there,
Ive got a bundle of old 8mm video tapes I would like to convert.
Unfortunately the 8mm camera is broken and will not play back.
Is there any 8mm adapters cassettes available so i can put straight into the VHS video player and convert over.
    Many thanks in anticipation :lease:

    Such a thing doesn't exist.
Your best bet is to get your camcorder fixed or buy a second hand one.

You are getting confused with the old and very bad VHSC camcorders. The tapes could be put into an expanding case that was the size of the VHS tapes you put in a standard VHS VCR. 8mm tapes are totally the wrong size and incompatable with a VCR so as Kevo said the converter does not exist.
