My 60GB console has just died with YLOD for the 3rd time (less than 2 months after the last refub swap) and as I'm sick and tired of the 60GB problems, Sony have offered me a brand new 80GB console with 12 months warranty.
Does the 80GB suffer from the same frequency of YLOD problems as the 60GB? Just weighing up my options as I could accept a 60GB refurb, trade in for £100 at CEX and sell my 320GB HDD for £40+ towards the cost of a new slim. Either way, I'll have a 12 months warranty but I just want a reliable console. Takes far too much time and effort re-downloading everything from PSN each time one breaks!
Thanks
