720p-analog and digital

    im having trouble finding out the difference between 720p from a dvi-i and 720p from a dvi-d (one being digital and the other analog).how much picture quality can be lost in the dvd players d a c ?
    i have a pioneer 502 mxe plasma and are trying to get the best picture i can
    any help would be great..

    DVI-I can be analog or digital (I stands for integrated). DVI-D is digital - always.
    If using the analog signal is worst or or better than the digital version you could try yourself, given your plasma input is DVI-I compatible.
