Don't know if you usually watch this, but my fav DJ John 00 Fleming is on it tonite, should be good viewing!

It's the biggest budget ever for the show, some of the cars on test are:
    Lambourgini Diablo
    Ferrari 360
    Ferrari 550
    Porsche 911

    Tune in!

Bugger - forgot that was on, first time i've been at home on a monday evening this year.

Always liked this programme, nice to see people knocking the prices down to a reasonable level, and watching the salesmen squirm:D

I always think it works best when they have someone on, who is looking for a reasonably priced car £8 - 10,000....ish.

Something the average man in the street can afford.

man they were some nice cars!! the ferrari dealership gave him more than 6k more on his part exchange porsche than porsche would!!
Eventually went for the Ferrari 360 and Damon Hill showed him how to cane it round the track, the bald fella he made puke before wouldn't go near him!

I missed the end - did he go for the silver Ferrari in the end? I saw him drive round in the red one (i think) just as it finished and then I got confused!!

    Anyone fill me in?

Even if I had the greenbacks to buy a porsche you can be sure I would have walked the second he started pulling that stoneyfaced crap.

The Ferrari salesman on the other hand was a really nice bloke, you got the impression he wanted to sell people Ferraris, i didn't get that impression from the porsche bloke.

Yes he went for a silver 360 in the end although it was a red one he was driving round the track at the end. £102!! but he got a better deal by £6k on the ferrari through his part ex so he bought his wife a Vauxhall Corsa (which is her favourite car of all time:eek: )

and please tell me the porsche mechanics weren't wearing business suits!!

It was a nice end to a great series

that beamer seemed way over priced. I think he definitely made the right choice that car was gorgous.

As for the Porche salesman he didn't give a crap and didn't want some scruffy bald fella messing him around on a car with a 18month waiting list

what did suprise me was that on the 45k he needed extra on the Porche he wanted to borrow 30k. I wouldn't have thought he needed to
