When I got my 6600GT (previously a fanless 9600XT) I also swapped around the major bits from another another PC to help make my HCPC the fastest and quitest it could be.

So the 6600GT is sat on a S939 Mobo with a 90nm Winchester 3500+ as apposed to a S747 with a really hot Newcastle 3000+.

The CPU keeps the Zalman copper whopper thingy (previously very quiet) and I've put a Zalman fan on the 6600GT.

But now the CPU fan is way more noisy than before. Constantly changing speed and staying almost constantly at a high level (using cool n quiet).
CPU usually around 48-52 with dscaler or TT2, System temp around 10!

Is there anyway of changing settings to get it to desist?
