    Appreciate any advice / opinions

    Too much choice out there!

Looking to replace my 50" Kuro with a 65" UHD TV

Will only be for UHD Blu Ray and Sky Q UHD, we watch normal stuff on a Panny in another room, this new TV is just for movies/sports events so not bothered about SDR quality

Blu Ray likely to be Panny UB700

    Short listed:

    65DX902B vs UE65KS9000 vs UE65KS9500 vs OLED65B6V

    Any replies appreciated

    Gus

If it's HDR you're after then definitely the KS9500.

Cheers but only 1 year warranty for online sales, 5 years is £546 extra

Have you contacted them? Says 5 year free warranty in the description. Just seems like the website hasn't been set up to automatically discount it. Doesn't necessarily mean it won't be included, but I'd call them to be sure if you didn't already.

Big thanks for the responses, called them and the 5 year warranty is included, the D&G is if you want accidental damage. They register serial with Samsung after sale and I will get warranty cert in about 3 weeks proof of 5 year guarantee.

Panny only 1 year online would need to go to shop to get one and collect to get 5 years, can't manage to travel to get one but I think the 9500 looks perfect for what I want.

The KS9500 is a better performer than the DX-902 and is now at a bargain price. In fact I don't think any 2017 TV will beat it for HDR performance.

The two HDR kings are the Sony ZD9 and Samsung KS9500 and whilst the ZD9 is better, its also a lot more expensive.

In 2017 there are no plans for either to make replacements as far as I know, no direct lit FALD HDR TVs which makes it an even better acquisition.
