65" TV on a 55" TV stand?

I'm sure this is ok but useful to get opinions........

My 65" TV weighs 22.3kg without its stand, I have a universal pedestal stand that is described as suitable for TV's up to 55" with a weight limit of 40kg. I am considering using the stand for my 65" TV but what do you think?

That generally means it won't clear the bottom of the stand, unless you have a TV with off-set mounting holes.

If you do then then larger TV does have longer leverage and will turn or tilt the base more easily when you accidentally knock one side.

The same company makes a stand for a 65" TV but the base is the same size. I think the VESA mount on the tv (30cm x 30cm) should allow the bottom edge of the tv to be approx 2cm above the stand base, I'll do a test install and see what it's like.
