Selling my 65" Panasonic TX-65VT65B, Purchased new in 2014 (still have receipt) and its been on the wall ever since. It's in absolutely perfect condition with no marks, scuffs, scratches of any kind, I have the original remote and also unused touch remote, white wand, 2 pairs 3D of glasses and pedestal stand there are also a couple of unopened packets with leads in.
It's been an absolutely brilliant television and it has worked faultlessly throughout my ownership. I am only selling as my 50th Birthday is imminent and have treated myself to a new 77" Sony AG9.
Looking for £500 no offers. Collection only please.
I have looked up the hours (Cheers Chavassea) and it has 16300 hours on it. Also apologies for the slight reflections of the blinds in the animal pics

Cheers!! It will be a great buy for somebody.
I’ve no idea how to look in all honesty, I’ll have a look into it and try and get hours up tomorrow with the pictures.

I generally keep boxes for my stuff but not that one as it was too big to go into loft or through basement door unfortunately.
I will have the box that the new Bravia is arriving in tho if thats any good?

I have the 50" version of this TV and would love the 65 and this sounds like a good one but just need to sort out transportation.( Need to measure my car as I think can be layed flat without stand-thats how I picked up the 50")
I'm assuming you would hold for me until lockdown over?
Happy to pay a deposit.
Best regards,
Chris

I'm more than happy to hold it for anyone Chris if a deposit was left for it. Least I could do given the current situation.

Ok thanks.
I will measure up my car as soon as I get home from work at 3 pm and get back to you.
I will have to pick up on my own so obviously would be wearing mask and being very careful as have lost family members to this awful virus.

Thanks for checking the hours but unfortunately I'll pass on this one. My current 65' VT50 only has about 8,500 viewing hours on it and I was hoping for something similar. Hope the sale goes well.

Hiya,
I have measured car and I think it will be close but should fit.
I just noticed you have listed the screen hours .Are you sure that's correct?I make that over 7 hours every day since purchase
Just thought I'd check .
Best regards

That’s what is says on the hidden menu page I found. It’ll generally be on for a couple of hours in the morning then from tea time until bed time I’d say then you’ve got the weekends so it’s gotta be right I’d say.

Ok no worries.
Any issues with the picture at all?
Any screen burn or any other issues compared to when new?
I'm no expert but I understand these have a very long lifespan.
My 50" is like new so I don't want to get a bigger TV if it's not similar quality.
Thanks

The panel is designed to go 60,000 hours before the brightness drops to 50 percent so 16,500 hours with roughly 7 hours of TV per day means it's easily got another 10 years left on it.

They were reputed to go on for 100,000 hours as I remember. It’s perfect in every way with no issues at all and I am more than happy for it to be inspected by a professional of your choosing should you wish.

As I've only refurbished my VT50 a few months ago, I'm struggling to justify replacement so soon otherwise I would have paid the full asking price the moment the advert got posted.

@Square eyes 52 go for it. There's a huge difference between a 50 and a 65inch.

Ok great.
In that case I will take it for £500.
Do you want to move to private messages to sort out deposit so I can collect after lockdown?

@Square eyes 52

Let me know if you would consider selling the AV component cable adapter if you have no use for it yourself.

Cheers.
