    Hi,
I've just got my Nokia 6230 on Vodafone.
After a bit of patching I've got it bluetooth paired with my IPAQ 2210.
Can anyone point me to a guide to setting it up so I can browse the internet on my IPAQ from my GPRS phone?

    Thanks

    -Neil

Thanks Shoehorn, I'll give it a try...

onefivenine, if the error you get pairing is something like 'Rejected because of security issues' then it's because the 2210 out of the box only issues 'unit' keys in its bluetooth handshaking.
The nokia 6230 will only accept 'combination' keys which are more secure.
There is a bluetooth security update on the HP web site that will add 'combination' keys capability to the IPAQ 2210. I had difficulty downloading it from the HP website so DL'd it from elsewhere.
Some users reported problems with their BT not working at all after the update if they had a non english language rom. So HP might have pulled the file for now.

Anyway my 2210 has rom version 1.10 and now works just fine with both my phone and GPS unit.

Nice to be able to browse the directories of the phone and move files back and forth between ipaq and 6230.

Anyone know how to SYNC the ipaq outlook and phone callender / contacts?

PS let me know if you can't get the file and I'll email it to you.

    Woohooo it worked!!!!!

Thanks again Shoehorn. I can now brows the internet from my ipaq via my mobile phone.

Blinkin' expensive though isn't it! £7.50 per megabyte on vodafone. The daft thing is the cost of carrying data to them must be far far less than the cost of regular telephone calls.

Does anyone know of any good mostly text sites I can visit.
Is there an address I can use to set the BBC web site to be text right from the word go.
Or perhaps can I set the pocket IE on my ipaq not to DL the pictures unless I click on each one specifically?

Many thanks Neil. That did the trick.

    Cheers, Dave
