606 and on-screen volume

does the 606 support showing the volume on-screen?

when i change volume, i am not seeing anything on screen.
in OSD setup i have "immediate display" set to on and to display it at the bottom, but nothing shows on screen.

TV is connected to amp via HDMI

Yep it does display the volume on screen, mine does and its set the same as you but the volume on the front display doesnt match the OSD when the front display says 20 the OSD says 25?...... do you get the other messages on screen i.e CBL/SAT when selecting that input?

i am getting nothing displayed on the screen at all... no volume, no input selection.

What is the source?

On my 607 I get the volume display if I use my DVD player as its connected to the composite, but not from SkyHD which is connected over HDMI.

I'm led to believe that it doesn't work if the input is HDMI.

all sources connected to the amp are HDMI, as is the output to the TV.

Funnily enough I did a google search before I saw this thread -

It doesn't really bother me that much, I know how much of a pig HDMI and HDCP can be, so not really supprised!
