6 or 8way masthead combiner TV FM and DAB

Does anyone know of anything that can do the above or how else I can achieve it.

Basically I am in a mid terrace house and want to put TV, FM and DAB into 6 - 8 rooms. I would just combine at the masthead and then split in the loft except we have a loft conversion and there's no suitable free loft space hence I'm looking to do everything at the masthead on the chimney stack and send 2 leads down the front of the building for the 2 rooms at the front and the rest down the back.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can achieve this.

Thanks

Just a minor correction to Graham's post - as you are combining THREE aerials into one downlead you will need TRIplexers rather than diplexers. As each input/output is frequency filtered (or at least should be!) you must connect the corrrect aerial/receiver to the correct terminal.

Three aerials on the one pole means it is gonna be a big one! AVOID the bent halo FM aerials (they lose 3dB of the signal available). DAB must be vertical. There are pics of aerials on poles on the site linked above and this one Wright's Aerials has some examples of what not to do as well.

Hi Thanks for the info.

If I need to could I do the following:

areal > Masthead Triplexer > Masthead Amp > 3 rooms + 4way amp (powered in the same way as masthead) > remaining rooms?

Thanks

You need to fit the amplifier before the triplexer in the uhf aerial connection. They are not designed to amplify DAB and FM frequencies. Basically you are trying to get a full 3 band distribution system using outdoor components. This would normally need an internal box mounted somewhere.

Struggling to find an all outdoor solution. Basically you need a triplexer with uhf amplification and amplified all band ouput to feed 8 seperate triplexers. It's a bit of a tall order as the system is basically what you would need in a small hotel.

To amplify the signals as one after triplexing you would need an amplifier that works from 87-806MHz and I can't find one.

Normally you would use something like this
