6 ohm and 8 ohm speakers

Hi All

I am thinking of getting a set of Focal Dome Flax speakers rated at 8ohm's, These will sit alongside a set of cheap Onkyo Up firing Atmos speakers rated 6 Ohms.

I am running a Yamaha RXV 675. Would I have any issues?

Would anyone suggest changing the Onkyo up fire speakers?

Thanks

G.

No need to change anything on the receiver it will easily deal with a mix of speakers' loadings. Change the Onkyo upfiring speakers? Yes. Not the best, perhaps look at Elac speakers for an improvement.

Super news!.
I was just looking at those. My other half brought the Onkyo's earlier this year (when i got the Yamy) so seems a waste to change them this quick. But when I get the Focal's I would like something decent to match.

Suck em and see how they sound for a while? Only upgrade if you feel something is lacking?
