    Hi peeps :)

    I've currently got two sources of 6 channel audio: An M-Audio Delta 410 and an M-Audio Revolution. Both PC soundcards. However, my Denon AVR-2801 only has one set of analogue inputs. Is there such a thing as a decent quality RCA type switchbox so that I don't have to keep unplugging one and plugging the other in?

    It's only a temporary solution, but in my life, temporary tends to be measured in years!

    Cheers :)

    If 6 phono/6 phono boxes are rare, this might be quite naff and temporary - have you thought about using 2x 3 Phono (Video/L R Audio) switch boxes?? This should work, although you'd need to flick two switches (quickly) to change the source :laugh:

    At www.keene.co.uk ... search for the "BT24" or "PSB" (not sure which will find you the product you want).

    it's a 3-way 6phono switching box. Will probably find it else where too cause it's made by B-Tech that a lot of people seam to sell.

    Doesn't the VA555ES have two 5.1 inputs too ... though both solutions are a little expensive :))) especially for a temporary solution .... oh and compared to a 3-way 6channel manual switch box!!

    Heh heh, I definitely don't want to buy another proccessor! I'm trying to lose the one I've got - hence the soundcards! :D

    I'm looking for the exact same product for my SACD/DVD-A Player + HD-DVD/Blu-ray Player. I don't have the latter yet but am thinking ahead.

    1. Is the B-Tech BT24 any good?

    2. Does this really work with a two 6-Phono in/three 6-Phono in and one 6-Phono Out setup? I can see it's "really designed for AV Inputs.

    3. How does it work for two 6-Phono inputs? I presume I'd need to press buttons 1/2 together and also 3/4 together (it looks to have 6 buttons), is this possible/does it work?

    4. Nutcase_1uk: How did it work out? Did you find anything better?

    5. Can you get anything better/alternative?

    The cheapest two places I can source one are:

    * £23.32 (Postage + VAT included) - http://www.tek2.com/beyondhifi/acatalog/B_Tech___BT24___SCA_3_way_Audio___Video_Control.html
    * £25.49 (Postage + VAT included) - http://www.keene.co.uk/multi.php?mycode=PSB

    I've used Keene before so am inclined to go with them for £2.17 more. The other company looks a bit weird. If you go to www.tek2.com it's a completely non-related company (I can't find Beyond Hi-fi on it at all), you need to go to www.tek2.com/beyondhifi which strikes me as a bit odd.

    The proper alternative would be a new Amp (with HDMI and/or Firewire) but I really don't need one of those.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hiya, I never did get around to getting one. I abandoned getting the second set of inputs by moving the other pc into a different room and not using it (anyone got any use for a 5.1 soundcard? :cool: )
