6 channel audio out or coaxial

    hi will 6 channel audio out or coaxial be better to connect from dvd player
    to amp

    If you want to play SACD and DVD Audio you will have to connect your DVD player to your AV amp via 6 channel audio to get the full bandwidth available on these discs. This can't be achieved via coax because companies are worried about digital copies being made. But for movie soundtracks coax is superior to the six analogue cables. I've got both going into my amp. Coax for films and six cables for SACD and DVD Audio.
