55" TV under £1000 recommendations?

Going to be 4 metres away from this tv. So 55" sounds like a good size if I want to stay under £1000. Will have new Apple TV so not concerned about 'smart' stuff. Will mostly be watching standard def tv with some HD Netflix, films, and maybe sport. Don't want a tv with amazing 4K (which I will never watch), but atrocious standard def! Will buy additional soundbar.

Considered Samsung 55ju6800, 55ju6400 & 55ju6445. LG 55uf770 & 55uf680. Panasonic 55cx680.

I've just had the Panasonic 55cx680 delivered for £810. Considering what I paid for my previous 46" 7 series Samsung I am really happy with it, blacks are superb, no banding, no light bleed and the picture feels a lot more natural than my last set while still keeping the high level of detail.
I haven't really watched any standard def to be honest, I have Sky and every channel I watch has an HD equivalent now.
The Firefox operating system is very good and runs really well.
Netflix 4K from the built in app looks stunning!
