50inch Pana PX600 or Sony 46inch X Bravia

Ok, my choice is now down to either of these.

Users of either.......pros & cons.

Set will be used as main tv on for about 14hrs a day.

Lot of Freeview viewing, also SKY HD, and DVD home cinema.

viewing dist is 12ft.

picture quality wise px600 wins hands down every time on every input.

the sony gains some points back in the fact that you will have no image retention issues.

its not as cut and dry as this but....


if you want a set that you can switch on and leave on, no matter what channel you are watching or what picture settings you have made then buy the sony.


if you want a set with great picture quality then the pana has got to be the way to go.

LOL I wish..............No unfortunately I have to go out to work. Her indoors gets to view tv from 11.00 then its on all day.

Stop worrying about retention issues its Panasonic. Retention is not an issue. But LCD is. Get the plasma.
