506XDE Setup

Everyone says that I need to calibrate/set up my new 506XDE.

Will I really notice a difference?

I'm just using it as it came; out of the box. And I'm really happy with it as it is. can it get better? If so, how?

You will notice that the colors are to "bleeding" as set to ´0´. Instead turn the colors down to -10.
I suggest you also turn the contrast a bit down, maybe to 32 instead of 40. That's my preference.
Also the "ACL" set to "on" and let gamma be "3".
These are mine settings. Try it out.
