ok

This is nearly done.

I am just waiting on the armour and lid but I have everything else so will be finished in June. The base will have lighting and diffused acrylic with voice effects. This is the best way to store costumes as it keeps the shape. The cape and robe are wool.

Looks superb!, Vader is a tough build, although Phasma is probably harder if its anything like a FOTK.

Love a challenge!!

The fitting is ok, its the finish that is the problem.

Done, now just getting cleared by UKG 501st

Great effort but to my eyes the head looks too big for the body so the proportions unfortunately look a bit wrong. I feel bad saying it as you’ve obviously put a lot of effort in and I know Prowse was tall so getting it to look right must be tough but can you maybe get a smaller head?

Ha ha, it’s on a mannequin to hold the costume, the arms are not on, the body is thin, it’s for me to wear, this is a pic of the components.

You will see the difference when the shoulder width is sorted, waist is filled out, it looks big because it’s basically on a stick thin mannequin.

All done and in for 501st approval

This has evolved with new 6 panel wool cape, new lid and armour. I had my fist event since December 2019 at a wedding last week and it was good to be back….did a couple of photoshops too 🙂

Many thanks and some more pics and photoshops. These pics were taken at a young man’s funeral who loved Star Wars and wanted a galactic send off…emotional day

I just stumbled across this thread, such great work mate, and I hope you have put your amazing ww2 models on here somewhere as well.

Some more performances captured at a John Williams concert
